here are my ideas for new ranks

Overseer-a rank above admin you could maybe take some of the global admin powers and add it to this rank but not all of them

Miner-a player that may be given abilities to mine faster and have better reach to place things this rank would be given to helpful players to help out maybe people who need more people to help them build this is similar to another rank but the he should be able to give other players faster mining and better reach

PvP King-this rank will start to make sense as i am going to be building a place for a pvp tournament the player will be able to have god mode and can spawn items and can heal players

Spawn Protector-The job of this person is to stay relatively close to spawn with summons and can access god-mode and can spawn items also should put in a addon for unlimited mana for them they will protect spawn

these are just ideas if you don't like them fine by me but i think we need a rank thats not global admin that is higher than admin like my overseer rank idea

Personally there is rarely that much of a supermajor grief that Callum has to come over to fix, usually just our own admin commands fix it, and I dont want the Global ranks commands to be spread out to much because of the risks of hackers. I like the other rank ideas doe. But with allot of ranks it might be hard to manage them all if something gets changed / altered by a unknown source and to balance them all.

We’re thankful and do not dislike your great suggestions, Warwick. However, 2 out of 3 ranks you have suggested are not currently required.

Firstly, the overseer rank is a good idea, but we currently do not require such a rank as the server is manageable with the current administrative structure. The administration understands that ranks attract more members but if New Eden has too many administrative ranks, it could be confusing to our members. It may also cause the server to be less manageable and might pose security risks as mentioned by Stoneman.

Our elder rank has similarities to the miner rank suggestion, with the exception that they are not able to provide buffs to other players. The administration will consider giving the elder rank this ability.

To obtain the elder rank, it is one of the requirements that one would have to schedule and participate in a minimum of 4 ERCs. This means, participants of your PvP tournament will have a chance of obtaining the elder rank. We do not let our members obtain ranks by purchasing them or by winning PvPs and boss battles as it is unfair.

The administration, especially security, is tasked with protecting spawn. Also, the new spawn has been designed to protect players from most dangers. Thus, the spawn protector is also not currently required.
